Samsung S5610 has got smooth key pads. Is any one having problem with the short cut keys ? The right,left,down and up arrow keys are not working for the short cuts. It is allowing to define shortcut keys. But its not working.
Also there is a problem with the memory card. The phone was detecting the memory card when I inserted. But after a day, its not showing up anything in the card. When I go to files option, it is saying Not allowed whn i move the right hand key.
Is any one else facing the problem ??

Mine says..
Text Messages 343/1000 (on Phone) & 24/24 (on SIM).

One More Thing My Firmware version is S5610KDDKK2
as you would already know the shortcut for finding out Firmware version is *#1234#.

@alamgir Cut, Copy and Paste works only inside the text editor.. Which is useless function (in my opinion :P) this mob dont have Clipborad like Nokia C5 to copy paste text from one place to an other place :(

I guess u r misinformed about the USB charging about Nokia phones. Nokia Phones do no charge off the USB cable (I mean they do but the PC Suite has to be up and Running) Whereas the Samsung Doesnt need KIES to be up and running.
Secondly , U can access the internet using the KIES Software, I have not tried tho but it should work.
One more advice to all S5610 Users. When u connect the phone to Computer/Laptop, by default it will be connected either in Mass storage or PC suite mode, but the disadvantage is it will not ask u wat mode it should be connected in , for Eg it should look like this
1) PC Suite
2) Mass storage
3) Do nothing (Or something like that)
the above options are there in Chat 322.
Here in S5610 it doesnt give u the option and once it is connected u can access the phone features, but hey wait there is a work around, follow the steps as mentioned below.
1) Place a call to any number who doesnt answer (i always call the customer care)
2) When the call gets connected connect the USB cable to the COMP and the phone.
3) After connecting the cable just wait for 3 seconds and then disconnect the call.
4) You will be in the regular home screen and u can use the phone functionalities as well.
For me this is very important as i charge my S5610 in Office comp and i msg frequently , while charging from comp if the phone funcionality is not availble then it is difficult for me.

I bought it today for my father-in-law.
Pros: The body is solid, the keyboard is very good. The torch is nice.
Cons: The camera is with autofocus, when you push the button it focuses and than shots. You cannot half-push.

Soft keypad for texting.. Its can store 300 SMSs.. When memory is full.. Take a Backup of ur msgs in memory card :) conversation mood is available in text msgs.. Good to send emails..
Autofocused Camera takes better pictures than any other mobile having 5MPs..
Volume is normal.. You can auto reject calls. You can block senders.. I'm not in 3G area so dont know about its performance in 3G.. For me EDGE works fine..
On Apllication and Operating System side this device is far behind Symbian devices..
No Wifi connectivity.. No multitasking :( (Only FM and Music players can be minimized) dont support Docs. There are only three defaults themes preinstalled..
Overall this phone is Good in this Price Range..
